Mary and Matt had the perfect day for their Old Warson Country Club wedding. Outdoor weddings in the Midwest often means couples have to cross their fingers for good weather. These two lucked out with a beautiful mid-September Saturday to say their vows!

This was our first wedding at Old Warson and we loved the rolling green hills and beautiful red prick paths everywhere. Mary and Matt were able to get ready for the day at the country club. After a first look near the herb garden, we found some beautiful places for wedding party photos. Even with such a large wedding party, everything was on time!

More about this Old Warson Country Club Wedding:

Outdoor weddings in St. Louis often have couples crossing their fingers (hard) for good weather. Mary and Matt lucked out with the perfect late summer day for their wedding! Since this was our first time at this St. Louis wedding venue, we had so much fun exploring all of the possible locations for photos. There were beautiful brick red backdrops everywhere, and the lush green of summer really popped in photos.

Mary and Matt held their ceremony on the outdoor patio behind the Country Club. One of our favorite things about the ceremony was hearing one of Mary’s friends sing. This woman had the most beautiful voice, and all of the guests had the same look of awe on their faces as she sang before they said their vows. What an incredible gift to the couple!

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the patio. Mary is a personal chef, and a true “foodie”. The appetizers and dinner options were some of the most unique and delectable things we’ve seen served at a wedding before! From the baba ganoush to the charred bok choi salad, guests were truly treated to a worldly food experience.

Guests danced the night away and we took way too many photos on the dance floor while the Diamond Empire Band just wouldn’t quit! Congratulations to Mary and Matt, who will be heading out on their honeymoon next month to celebrate.  :)
