This Cooper’s Landing engagement photography session in the fall along the Katy Trail was beautiful. We picked a perfect October day for photos with sunbursty natural light! Carli and Gordy were happy to wander around the area holding hands and slow dancing in the woods. There were so many gorgeous spots for photos and the Missouri River made a stunning backdrop. If you haven’t been to Cooper’s Landing, it’s a perfect mix of campers, Katy Trail bike enthusiasts and live music. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Columbia. If you’re ever looking for a unique first date location, this is it!
We have photographed several engagement sessions along the Katy Trail, but the light and the river made this one so picturesque. Carli and Gordy met in Columbia, and currently live here. They wanted engagement photos that showed where they fell in love. Carli is from northern California, and they are planning a spring wedding there next year. We had a wonderful time with these two, who were effortlessly happy in front of our camera!
Luke - Lovely images. Greetings from California. I’ll be photographing their wedding this weekend and thankful for your prior work with them. These relaxed and authentic images are the type they’d like for their wedding day, and it is pleasant to find and see your style is what they’ve described. Thanks and be well!
Katie Barnes - Thanks Luke! I bet their wedding was just awesome!
