Michelle and Nevada’s rustic country wedding in Rocheport, MO was an absolute joy to photograph. This was our our first wedding of the season, and despite looming grey skies, these two remained calm and relaxed all day.

From the sweet moments like Michelle’s dad seeing her for the first time, to the look on this happy couple’s face after saying “I do”, this country wedding was right up our alley, and we were honored to document the day for Michelle and Nevada! Michelle and Nevada got ready for the day at the quaint Amber House Bed and Breakfast. We have photographed lots of weddings in Rocheport, but this was our first time at the Amber House. This spot had so many cool antiques! We loved all of the large windows for natural light too.

After a first look in downtown Rocheport, Michelle and Nevada headed to Les Bourgeois. The ceremony was held on the bluff top there, just outside of the popular Bistro restaurant there. Michelle had lots of great inspiration ideas for this country wedding. She stacked antique wooden crates along with galvanized buckets filled with baby’s breath as decoration during the ceremony. Antique glass bottles and natural wood served as gorgeous rustic centerpieces on the dinner tables. One of our favorite country wedding decor ideas was the use of burlap coffee bags as table runners! It was such a great environmentally friendly idea!
