If you are recently engaged and looking for the perfect outdoor and rustic wedding venue in mid-Missouri, you have to check out the Blue Bell Farm in Fayette, MO. Owners Derek & Jamie Bryant are in the process of building a gorgeous timber-frame barn that will be able to host weddings in the spring, summer, fall and even winter. This working farm has chickens, cows, a gorgeous Great Pyrenees, and a history that will amaze you!
The farm was originally established as part of the New Madrid Land Grants in 1812, and has been in the same family for seven generations. Currently the Bryants farm a portion of the land and are regular vendors at the Columbia Farmer’s Market. In the future they hope to offer wedding packages that include meat and produce options that are locally grown and raised on their farm!
As photographers who specialize in rustic outdoor weddings that are full of natural light, we couldn’t help instantly falling in love with this new venue near Columbia. Plans for the finished barn include a clean Scandinavian-style design with white-washed walls.
