Meet Allison and Sam. These two had a beautiful summer outdoor wedding at Les Bourgeois in Rocheport, MO and we were lucky enough to document all of the candid moments to tell the story of their day. Allison and Sam live in Seattle and included some awesome Northwest details into their day. They gave dinner tables names like Big Sur and Mt. Rainier, National Parks they have visited together. Allison and Sam’s wedding day began at the Broadway Hotel in downtown Columbia. This new hotel is in a great location, and has tons of natural light for getting ready photos! These two decided to do a “first look” on Stephen’s College campus before their ceremony. This gave them more time to spend with guests during the cocktail hour at Les Bourgeois later in the day. Allison’s Modern Trousseau dress was a dream to photograph, and paired with Sam’s Suit Supply suit and awesome polka dot tie by Penguin, their portraits looked like something out of a wedding magazine. Kent’s Florals did an amazing job with Allison’s whimsical wedding bouquet and we had a hard time not filling this post with flowers!
The blufftop ceremony space overlooking the Missouri River seems like it was made for an outdoor summer wedding at the Les Bourgeois. After the ceremony, guests mingled during the outdoor cocktail hour while surrounded by scenic views of river valley. Around sunset time, we managed to capture some great photos of Allison and Sam in the vineyards, surrounded by grape vines and bathed in warm light. The night was capped off with dinner and dancing in the rustic pine beam reception space. Congratulations to Allison and Sam, we wish you all the best in your adventures as husband and wife!
